Welcome! I am so excited to have you here. If you are then I’m guessing that disordered eating and/or chronic dieting has gotten in the way of your health and happiness. If that resonates, then you are in the exact right place! I’m here to tell you & show you that you can start healing and working towards a healthy relationship with food and your body. I am excited to be on this journey with you!

A little back story on me…

I have gone through stages of my life where I felt like food controlled me. I tried diet after diet and nothing worked. I went from eating whatever I wanted to counting macros to severely restricting my intake and pushing my body to exercise until I physically couldn’t anymore. I struggled for years to find balance. I thought that being "good" meant working out more and eating less during the week and then going on a bender over the weekend. I would binge on the weekends on foods (and alcohol) that I had restricted all week. Then Monday would show up and the cycle would start all over again.

I cut out specific food groups, like carbs, with the mindset that if I ate less of something then the scale would go down. I thought that when the scale went down, then all of my problems would go away. After years of failure and frustration, I had this realization that something needed to change. I knew that these habits and behaviors were not helping me live a value-aligned life. Food had become something that I abused, rather than something that was a fuel source meant to nourish my body.

This realization lead me to start working on myself and little did I know, it slowly started to help me become more comfortable and confident in my own skin. I made a promise to myself that I would give up dieting forever and I encourage all of my clients to do the same. It wasn't until I was introduced to Intuitive Eating, an evidenced based, self care focused way of eating, that I was able to regain trust with my body, improve my health, and enjoy life again...FREE from the control of food!

Through all of this, my signature group course, The MACKSIMIZE Intuitive Eating Method was created. This group course is designed to help you unlearn diet culture thoughts and behaviors so that you can have a healthy relationship with ALL foods and your body in order to live your true, authentic life.

Aside for my love for all things wellness and nutrition, in my free time you can find me in the gym, hanging with my pup Arthur, riding my horse Zurich, or hanging out with my family and friends!
